Private individuals and estates are eligible for tax deductions on donations of €850 or more. We ask our donors to enter their personal identity code if they are making a donation of €850 or more.

University of Helsinki submits information on tax-deductible donations to the Finnish tax authorities at the beginning of each year. If you wish to make a tax-free donation in the US, please visit here.

For donations of €850 or more, we kindly ask you to send us a deed of donation. If you donate in the Finnish Government’s matched-funding scheme, please use the University of Helsinki´s deed of donation form. If you donate to other funds or campaigns, please use the the University of Helsinki funds' deed of donation form. Complete the deed of donation online or by hand, and send it by email to lahjoittajasuhteet@helsinki.fi or by mail to: Lahjoittajasuhteet, PL 53, 00014 Helsingin yliopisto. For the privacy statement concerning information on donors, please click the University´s website. University of Helsinki has a money collection permit (RA/2020/737), permitted by the National Police Board on 18 June 2020. The permit covers all of Finland, with the exception of Åland.
